Travels & Update

Thank You!
We want to thank those of you who have been praying for us and for those who support us financially. We are so grateful for you as we simply could not do what God has called us to in Honduras without you! We want this to be a two way partnership however. So if there are things you'd like us to lift in prayer, PLEASE let us know. We regularly pray for our supporters and those the Lord has placed on our heart. And our obligation to you is to keep you updated to share in our joys and struggles so we can strengthen one another like "iron against iron" (Prov. 27:17). It is truly humbling to be able to share our journey with others. It is only by God's grace we are able to!

On the Move...
Please pray for an upcoming trip we have to Tacoma, Washington, March 2–5. We will be visiting Edgewood Bible Church to attend their annual missions conference and will be speaking to Sunday Schools among other activities there. Pray for the Lord to move in the hearts of people there to partner with us in prayer and support and that we might be able to minister to and encourage them. If you are in the Tacoma area let us know and we can visit!

In mid-March we plan to make another transition from our cabin in the country back into Keizer where we will be closer to our home church and able to begin preparations for shipping our things to Honduras. Please pray for the details to fall into place with this move.

Tentative Departure Date
There are so many unknowns that go into going to the mission field – being constantly on the move, fluctuation in support (up AND down), and departure date to name a few. In all things we have experienced in this process is that it is all according to the Lord's will. So in light of this (Lord willing) we have set a tentative date to leave for Honduras: August 6.

Working backwards from this date we have Corey's commissioning through the Evangelical Church at the end of July (all are invited - more details later), team building training in mid-July, which makes the deadline for reaching 100% of our support by June 1. This will give us time in the month of June to begin preparations (imagine relocating your family to another country... LOTS to do!). Although these dates are according to our goals and plans, the Lord ultimately will determine when we go. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Prov. 3:5-6)

As of today we are at 82% of our monthly support. We have approx. 60% of our one-time amount as well. We rely on God alone and have faith he will raise up the support needed between now and the end of May. It's an amazing place to be!
