Matching Gift Challenge

The Lord has called us to Honduras, to give up what we know here in America and to take the Good News to a special people. He has given us a love for these people. It is only by Him and through Him that we are able to do this. We have shared this calling with many, and many have chosen to join us as partners in this ministry through prayer and financial gifts. Because of this, our needs have been met on a monthly basis to begin ministry in Honduras.

However, in order to get to Honduras and get setup to begin this ministry, we need approximately $15,000. This may seem like a large amount, but is necessary to begin a new life in a new country and to be effective in the ministry we are called to.

A generous ministry partner has pledged $8,000 in matching donations to get us to where we need to be. Every donation that we receive before May 31, up to $8,000, will be matched! If you give $25, it will be matched to be $50; if you give $50, it will be matched to be $100; if you give $250, it will be matched to be $500, and so on. Please help us to reach our goal by taking part in God's greater plan. We are excited to be a part of it and see Him opening doors where credit can only be given to Him.

For this particular challenge, if you give through Salem Evangelical Church, please note on the envelope "Matching Gift Challenge" so that it will be designated as a matching gift. 

We are overwhelmed by your generosity and the generosity of this matching gift. We realize God has blessed his faithful servants financially to be a blessing to others. We never imagined we would be the recipient of these blessings. It is very humbling to say the least.
