What's next for the Wells?

We've returned from orientation with CAM International and are pumped about what God is doing! We were officially appointed as missionaries with CAM last week and will be headed to Honduras full-time. We're now looking forward to the next year or so of support raising! It looks like a mountain in front of us but our God can MOVE mountains. Please pray with us as we seek to raise prayer warriors and those who feel led to be a part financially of what God is doing in us and through us.

Here's a brief outline of our next steps:
  1. Raise prayer supporters and financial supporters.
  2. Visit Honduras in September to meet the existing team and see future ministry.
  3. At 80% of needed funding, we will attend an intercultural training school in North Carolina for 9 weeks.
  4. After training and 100% funding, we will attend language school in Honduras.
  5. After language school we go full speed into our future ministry!
Here's a brief outline of our future ministry:
  1. Support the Honduran church through encouragement, discipleship, mentoring, and intercultural training.
  2. Alongside the Honduran church, live near, love, serve, and share Jesus with the Garifuna tribal people of northern Honduras.
  3. Establish a missionary training center in La Ceiba, Honduras for training up Hondurans called to missions using the Garifuna tribe for intercultural training.
  4. Send Honduran missionaries around the world to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
  5. Use a "business as missions" model in La Ceiba using surfing, diving, and other tourist centered activities to share Jesus' love. Income from these businesses would help support the local national church.
Thank you again for your prayers and joining us on this journey for Jesus!

  1. Love this!! It would be neat to see one of those thermometer things to show the progress of the finances raised to date. I love those things.

Kirsten ~ May the Lord's favor be over you and your family as you trust Him with each step of the journey! May you always be encouraged and not discouraged. May you always be excited and not anxious. May you always have peace in your hearts, peace in your relationships, peace in your finances and peace in your home. To God be the Glory ... great things He has done ... and will continue to do through His people (such as yourselves) who are FAITHFUL to the call.

    In Christ,
    Mandy
